The Last Yard is more than a collection of forgotten European cars. It is the story of Angelo, who after more than fifty years in the same workshop is packing up a lifetime of memories as the world around him changes and the land that once gave his business room to breathe gives way to a different future. For decades, unwanted Fiats, Alfas, Lancias and Maseratis found their way to this quiet corner of Brisbane, where they rested beneath gum trees, surrendered to moss and weather, or waited patiently for a second chance. Over time, the workshop became every bit as much a part of the story as the machines it sheltered.

As the gates close for the final time, it is not simply hundreds of cars that are being relocated, but a place shaped by half a century of conversations, craftsmanship and accumulated knowledge. The yard that once seemed permanent now exists only in memory, making way for whatever comes next. The cars will scatter to new homes, the landscape will change again, and another layer of history will quietly settle beneath the one that replaces it.
